YomaBarr The original Stimmen is the only thing I don't know from Waldgeflüster's discography. But I love this band and I love to watch how they evolved - from angry rawness of lone Winterherz to mature sophisticated beauty of the full band. Stimmen 2020 is more or less what I expected. Some of that rawness, some of this beauty and this inimitable sound. Thanks, Waldgeflüster. Favorite track: Wotan sang.

Final I’ve been waiting for a digital release of this demo for a literal decade. Although I no longer actively follow this great project, the demo and debut album were a huge part of my life. Even if I don’t happen to enjoy the re-recorded version, the original’s inclusion means another long-standing musical quest is finally coming to an end. This is a Yule come early – coming late in January. Favorite track: Waldgeflüster.

Waldgeflüster here present a special re-recording of the bands demo on vinyl on the 15th anniversary of the band's birth. Bringing the past into the present, the re-recorded Stimmen im Wind 2020 truly sounds like it could've come at any point in Waldgeflüster's storied career – or, most especially, in this very present day – so consistently compelling is their muse. Included with this vinyl-only release is a free CD (in cardboard sleeve) with the original demo. Stimmen im Wind 2020 is a chance for the growing legions of Waldgeflüster to nostalgically dwell into wistful early days of the band. The past is indeed alive!
